A Girl I Met

A girl I met
With a twinkle in her eye.
A girl who
Craved for freedom.

As I see her
I feel thousand
Fables as if untold.

A search has begun.
Mind is not at peace
Questions to be answered.

A lot to talk
But no one around.
A queer girl
With a great smile

That pleases me as I see her.

Borders to be crossed
Lands to be conquered.

A solitary girl
With a quest to begin.

Life is tough
But not harsh.
All with a smile
You can win.

Too close but too far
That’s what I feel

Lot to say
But voices unheard.
But I thank you god
For such a lovely gift.

A girl I met
With a twinkle in her eye.
